Set oven to 200F
Then we mixed 1c of all-purpose flour
1/2c salt
~3/4c of water
We rolled it out with our rolling pin and used our Christmas cookie cutter shapes.

We baked them for what seemed an eternity (about 3 hours) then I flipped them over for about another hour. Then came the fun part: paint and glitter!

I made those as a child with my mom. We made them many many years and she gave them to me recently. LOVE looking back at them.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to seal them with some varnish (so they do not mold). They will last for years. :)
PS - If you add instant coffee to the dough it will make brown and you can make bears. ;) It also smells like coffee when you bake them.
